Frequently Asked Questions
UBFIT NP registration forms coming soon. All forms should be accompanied by cash or cheque payable to University of The Bahamas and paid at University of The Bahamas (New Providence). Persons are asked to keep payment receipts to receive race packets.
Race packets can be picked up the University of The Bahamas (New Providence). We strongly suggest that you avoid the rush the morning of the race by picking up your race packet early!
Can I run, walk, skate or bike with headphones?
Safety is our first priority, the use of personal music devices during the running of the UBFIT NP is strongly discouraged. However, if you decide to use headphones, please keep the volume low so you can hear what is going on around you. Safety First.
Can I run with a stroller?
UBFIT is a fun family-friendly race however, due to the large number of participants we do not allow running with strollers for safety reasons. If you would like to WALK the race non-competitively while pushing a stroller, you may do so.
Can I run with my dog?
Unfortunately, for safety related reasons, unless your dog is a certified Service Dog you may not run with your dog.
Can wheelchair participants come on the route?
Yes, if you would like to participate non-competitively or walk and push someone in a wheelchair you are welcome to do so.
Bikers & Skaters
For your safety, all bikers and skaters are required to wear helmets and proper protective gear.
Can I get a refund?
As a fundraiser for University of The Bahamas, registrations are non-refundable.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Prior to 1st November, all registration transfer requests will be honoured. Once bib numbers are assigned by RACE Track Management and race packets have been stuffed (approximately one week before the race), no additional registration transfers will be allowed.
UBFIT NP will be professionally timed by RACE Track Management.
